Privacy Policy

This page explains what information WoBot keeps, why, who can see it, how long it is kept and how you can see, correct or delete it.
WoBot is a chat bot and set of stream widgets for Kick. In this policy, "we" means the operator of the WoBot service at this website. You can reach us through the contact form.
1. Whose information this covers
- Streamers who log in with Kick and use the dashboard, and helpers (sub-users) a streamer invites.
- Viewers who chat in a Kick channel that uses WoBot. Most viewers never visit this website; the bot sees what they do in that channel's chat.
- Visitors of this website.
2. What we keep
When you log in with Kick
- Your Kick user ID, username and profile picture link, which Kick gives us when you log in.
- The login tokens Kick issues, so the bot can act in your channel: post chat messages, moderate, update your title and category, and receive your channel's events.
- Your channel's setup: settings, commands, timers, alerts and the media files you upload for them, widget settings, a Discord webhook address if you add one, the helpers you invite and their permissions, and a log of changes made in the dashboard.
- If you link your own bot account: its Kick user ID, name and login tokens, and – only if you add it – its kick.com session, used only to set its name colour in your chat.
About viewers in a channel that uses WoBot
- Kick username, Kick user ID and subscriber status.
- Activity counters: number of messages, last time active, points, XP and level, watch time, and daily totals of these.
- What a viewer does with the bot: song requests, store purchases (including text typed for them), viewer-queue entries, giveaway entries, poll votes and bets, and values a streamer's custom commands store.
- Kick events such as follows, subscriptions, gifts, KICKs, raids and channel-point rewards, with any message attached, which are shown as alerts and kept as event history.
- Moderation records when a filter or a moderator acts on a message, including that message's text.
- Shopify orders, only if a streamer connects their Shopify store: from each new order WoBot keeps the buyer's first name, the product names, the quantity and the order total, shown on stream as an alert and kept as event history. The rest of the order Shopify sends (last name, email, address, payment details) is not stored.
WoBot does not keep a log of chat messages. Messages are passed live to the streamer's dashboard and widgets and are not stored, except in moderation records and a message a moderator pins on stream.
Website visitors and the contact form
- When you are logged in, one cookie keeps your login session (see the Cookie Policy). There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- When you log in, we record the time, a shortened form of your IP address with the last part removed (for example 203.0.113.x), and your browser and operating system (for example "Chrome · Windows"). This shows the site's admins who logged in and helps spot misuse of accounts. Login records are deleted after 90 days.
- Apart from login records we don't store visitors' IP addresses. The network that carries traffic to the server (Cloudflare) and the hosting provider process them to deliver the site.
- We count how many times the site's pages are loaded each day, per area of the site (home page, dashboard, channel pages, legal pages). The count holds no IP address, cookie or other information about the visitor.
- If an account is used to misuse the service, an admin may block it from logging in. We then keep its Kick user ID, name, the reason and the date until the block is lifted.
- The contact form keeps what you type: the request type, your message, and – only if you add them – your Kick username and an email address for our reply.
3. Why we use it
- To run the bot and the features a streamer switches on (commands, points, levels, games, song requests, alerts, widgets and public channel pages).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To answer requests sent through the contact form.
You are not legally required to give us any information. Without logging in with Kick you can't use the dashboard; viewers' data is collected only in channels whose streamer uses WoBot. We don't sell personal information, don't show advertising and don't build profiles for marketing.
4. Who can see it and who it goes to
- The streamer and their helpers see their own channel's viewer data in the dashboard. Each streamer decides which features to use in their channel.
- The public: if the streamer turns them on, the channel's public pages show the ranking (usernames with points, levels and watch time), the song queue with requesters' names, the commands and the shop. The same information is available through the public API described in the documentation. A streamer can hide viewers from the ranking.
- Kick – the bot uses Kick's services to read chat and events and to send messages and moderation actions.
- Discord – only if a streamer adds a webhook: go-live and offline posts with the stream title and category.
- Shopify – only if a streamer connects their store: Shopify sends WoBot each new order. Anyone watching the stream sees the buyer's first name and what they bought in the alert.
- YouTube and Spotify – the text of song requests is used to look up songs; the song player widget plays them through YouTube's player (privacy-enhanced mode).
- Nightbot – only when a streamer imports commands from it.
- Websites a streamer chooses – custom commands can fetch a web address the streamer set, which may include text from the chat command.
- Services loaded by widgets and pages in your browser or OBS: fonts from Google Fonts in the widgets, emote images from Kick, 7TV and BetterTTV, YouTube thumbnails, and Kick profile pictures. These services receive your browser's IP address when loading them. The dashboard also asks kick.com for your channel's chat ID.
- Infrastructure – the hosting provider of the server and Cloudflare, which carries the site's traffic.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside Israel
Some of the services above (for example Kick, Discord, Shopify, Google, YouTube, Spotify and Cloudflare) are run by companies outside Israel, so using WoBot can transfer information to other countries. We only send them what each feature needs.

| Information | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Your account, channel settings, commands, timers, alerts, widgets and uploaded files | Until you delete them or delete your account |

Old data is deleted automatically every day. Backups of the database, if made, are kept for a limited time (14 days by default) and then replaced.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Logging in works only through Kick, so WoBot never sees or stores a password. The Kick login tokens and kick.com sessions WoBot keeps are stored encrypted, with a key that is kept apart from the database and its backups. Helpers only get the parts of a channel the streamer allows, secrets such as widget links and webhooks are hidden in the dashboard, and the server limits how fast requests can be sent. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we will act according to the law.
8. Your rights
- See your information: on the My data page (log in with Kick) you can see and download what WoBot keeps about you as a viewer. Streamers can also download their account data in Dashboard → Settings.
- Correct it: points and levels are managed by each channel's streamer – ask them, or use the contact form.
- Delete it and stop collection: on the My data page you can delete your viewer data in every channel and stop WoBot from collecting it again. Streamers can delete their whole account in Dashboard → Settings. Moderation records stay until they expire (90 days), because channels need them against abuse.
- Ask us: use the contact form for anything else, or if you can't log in. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account it is about.
- You can also complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority.
9. Children and teenagers
WoBot works with Kick accounts, so Kick's own age rules apply. WoBot is not designed for children. If you are under 18, use the dashboard only with a parent's or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a minor's information through the contact form.
10. Cookies and local storage
See the Cookie Policy.
11. Changes
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top. Important changes are also announced in the dashboard's What's new list.
